Now enrolling for Friday-only Pre-K & Kindergarten enrichment! Ages 3–6. Limited spots available—nature-based, hands-on learning in Moncks Corner!
Our curriculum will be a vibrant blend of Montessori principles and farm-inspired learning. We are dedicated to fostering an environment where children thrive through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. By immersing them in a rich, natural setting, we encourage curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
In addition to embracing the wonders of nature, our program will focus on essential subjects such as science, reading and writing, and math. Through engaging activities and real-world applications, we will cultivate critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of these foundational areas. Our approach emphasizes discovery and individualized learning, allowing children to develop both academically and personally while forging a lasting connection to the world around them.
Rambling Roots Academy will welcome a cozy group of 12 children each day.
We welcome children ages 2 to 6 years old. To support a smooth and successful transition into our program, children ages 3 and older should be fully potty trained and require only minimal assistance with restroom routines.
Our 2-year-old classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only, with a gentle focus on early social development, outdoor play, and animal interaction.
We do not provide meals, so please ensure your child has breakfast before arriving at school. We will, however, provide a snack each day.
Sample Snack Week:
Monday - Goldfish & Banana
Tuesday - Yogurt (with naturally dyed sprinkles) & Granola
Wednesday - Veggie Straws & Apple Sauce
Thursday - Pirates Booty & Oranges
Friday - Pretzels & Carrots with Ranch
We ask that your child brings a labeled water bottle, the designated folder given to you, a change of clothes, and, if possible, an extra pair of shoes.
Absolutely, there are numerous opportunities for parents to volunteer! You can read to the students, engage in fun craft activities, or assist with outdoor playtime. Additionally, you might help organize special events, lead nature walks, or participate in classroom projects. Stay tuned for a chance to be a part of our PTA program! We value parent involvement and look forward to your contributions!
