Rooted Beginnings at RRA

Who: Children ages 2-6 years old.

Where: Private property located in Moncks Corner, SC, right outside of Cane Bay

When: Half-day classes, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM, August through May (Follows the Berkeley County School District calendar) 

What: A child-led, hands-on early learning experience rooted in everyday exploration and meaningful connection. Our program supports individualized growth through a blend of indoor and outdoor play, practical life experiences, creative exploration, and thoughtfully guided foundational learning in a warm, mixed-age environment.

Children are encouraged to follow their curiosity, engage deeply with their environment, and learn through real-life experiences, developing confidence, independence, and a strong sense of self as they grow.

↪ Young Learners (ages 2-3), Building early social, emotional, and motor skills through play, exploration, and meaningful interaction with their environment. 

↪ Preschoolers (ages 3-5), Developing foundational academic and social skills through a balance of guided learning, child-led exploration, and growing independence. 

↪ Kindergarten-aged children (age 5), Engaging in rich, play-based learning that supports curiosity, confidence, and readiness for the next stage of learning. 

↪ Homeschoolers Welcoming families looking for meaningful, relationship-centered enrichment that complements a home education approach. 

Through hands-on exploration, caring for living things, working with natural materials, and collaborative projects, children develop social, practical, and foundational academic skills in a supportive, relationship-centered environment.

Enrollment Details

Enrollment at RRA is offered through a thoughtful application and review process. Our intentionally small setting allows us to build each school year with care, and availability may vary by day based on enrollment. To begin that process, you can apply here.

Summer Camps at RRA

Who: Children ages 3-8 years old.

Where: Private property located in Moncks Corner, SC, right outside of Cane Bay

When: Half-day classes, 9 AM – 12:30 PM, 6 weeks during summer

What: A relaxed, themed summer camp experience where children dive into fun and explore the world around them. Our camp encourages curiosity, hands-on exploration, and creative play in a supportive, engaging environment. Each week is carefully designed to spark imagination, foster new skills, and create lasting memories.

↪ Weekly Themes: Each week has a unique theme with activities, projects, and outdoor adventures inspired by nature, art, science, and community.

↪ Ages 3–8: Activities are tailored to different age groups, ensuring each child can explore, learn, and play at their own pace.

↪ Hands-On Fun: From caring for living things to creative projects and collaborative games, children experience learning through real-world, playful exploration.

↪ Cost: $250 per week per child (includes all supplies) 

Enrollment Details

Summer camp enrollment is open on a first-come, first-served basis. Spots are secured through submission of the summer camp application and payment. To apply and reserve your child’s spot, you can submit the application here. 

Once received, we will:

↪ Review the application.
↪ Create a Brightwheel account for your child.
↪ Send payment links through Brightwheel. Payment secures your child’s spot.
↪ Complete our summer camp paperwork via Brightwheel.
↪ Spots are limited, so early application is recommended to guarantee your child’s week(s) of choice.
